WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING ?
Increasing of greenhouse gas concentrations resulting from human activity such as fossil fuel burning and deforestation caused most of the observed temperature increase since the middle of the 20th century.
Global Warming is defined as the increase of the average temperature on Earth. As the Earth is getting hotter, disasters like hurricanes, droughts and floods are getting more frequent.
WHAT ARE THE CAUSES ?
Deforestation
Carbon Dioxide from Power Plants
Carbon in Atmosphere and Ocean
Carbon Dioxide Emitted from Cars
Carbon Dioxide from Airplanes
Methane
WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS ?
Increase of temperature on the earth by about 3° to 5° C by the year 2100.
Rise of sea levels by at least 25 meters (82 feet) by the year 2100
melting of land ice .
